Marfa Mystery Lights

photos by UnCommonDays.com

If you have a chance to be in Marfa, Texas after sunset, you might stop about 9 miles east of town at the viewing area to see the Marfa Mystery Lights.  Although the cause of this phenomenon is unknown, many have witnessed the lights that appear on the horizon after dark. There are friendly folks in the area who will tell you all about the lights and what they have seen.

These four residents, Justin, Josh, Nathan and Chris say the lights can be in all different colors and "sometimes really put on a show".  Maybe these young men find some similarity between the colorful Mystery Lights making an uncommon experience for them and the water balloons they were carrying making an “uncommon day” for someone!
