Turtle Creek, flanked by Turtle Creek Drive and Lakeside Drive, is a mostly narrow, shallow creek that meanders through an area of central Dallas by the same name. Many of the most magnificent mansions in the city are located in this area and many of the Dallas rich and famous have high rise "apartments" with a Turtle Creek Drive address. If you can, visit this area in early Spring when the hot pink azaleas and other spring flowering plants put on a spectacular show . . . one of nature's bests! Footpaths and wooden benches accommodate those who want to park along the drive and spend a little time enjoying this area. |
