Where:  In the Mesquite Resistol Arena, Mesquite, TX (east Dallas)
What:  Don't miss this championship rodeo every Friday and Saturday night from April through September. This is a professional rodeo with bull riding, saddle bronc & bareback riding, calf roping, steer wrestling and barrel racing. The indoor arena seats 5,000 people around a 26,000 sq foot dirt floor. The rodeo moves right along, lasting 2 hours and is filled with excitement. Cowboys and cowgirls on the rodeo circuit pay a significant entrance fee to participate, and the stakes are high for these highly competitive events. Rodeo clowns assist in protecting the contestants, expert pick-up men and their horses are fascinating to watch and the chuck-wagon races, calf scramble for the kids and a poker game with Anthrax the bull looking on provide even more entertainment.
