Mayfest

First weekend in May every year

Where:  Trinity Park, Fort Worth, TX
What:  Since 1973, the annual Mayfest has been celebrated to promote activities for children and heighten community spirit by raising funds for Cowtown's parks, river belt and outdoor recreation areas and other notable community beneficiaries.  Lovely hike and bike trails along the Trinity River and useful park facilities and improvements have resulted from Mayfest.  Other non-profit organizations such as Fort Worth Area Habitat for Humanity, Fort Worth Public Library and Performing Arts Fort Worth have also benefited from Mayfest.  The event relies largely on volunteers and sponsors for funding and elbow grease.

Plan to take the whole family and spend the whole day or whole weekend!  Check out the entertainment on 6 different stages!  Enjoy carnival-like eats! Ride the miniature train around the park! Activities for all ages and sunshine (hopefully) galore! This is a wonderful event for all the family.

Lots of free parking within walking distance and shuttle buses provide access to overflow parking.

For more about special events, admission fees and hours, call 817-332-1055.

Check the weather - it's all OUTDOORS!
