Simply
stated, this museum is quite amazing . . . especially for anyone
interested in music. A
welcoming atmosphere and a very well-presented collection of instruments
that may not be found anywhere else in the world, encourages visitors to
linger. Many musical events
and the availability of great amounts of information about music complement
the exhibits. Ask why it is
named a “shrine” and you might be told of the comparison to Mt.
Rushmore, which is the “Shrine to Democracy”.
Even though a fee is not charged, it appears any contribution to
this effort is put to good use. |
