The
4 reservoirs of the mighty Missouri River, more than 100 glacial lakes,
300 miles of clear mountain streams and 14 mountain lakes attract anglers
of all ages to South Dakota. Catches include walleye, bass, salmon, trout
and pike. When fishing lines are dangled from boats, canoes and
shorelines, they come out with keepers.
Lake Oahe, a 231 foot-long reservoir offers some of the best walleye
fishing in the world. Visitors can tour the Oahe Dam, the second
largest rolled-earth dam in the world, during the summer months. |
