Strawbery
Banke (yes, that's spelled correctly!) got its name from the wild berries
that were found on the banks of the Piscataqua River in 1630. The
museum celebrates 300 years of American history and offers ten furnished
houses and period gardens that represent different years in American
history. In addition, six exhibit houses include demonstrations of
tools, building methods, and archaeology. Located in historic
Portsmouth and open daily Spring through mid-Fall. Admission
