The Marginal Way
in Ogunquit, Maine

Panorama of sights to enjoy along The Marginal Way

photos by UnCommonDays.com

This 1¼ mile walk that links Perkins Cove and Ogunquit village center provides a very pleasurable stroll above the rocky coast.  Benches along the way invite you to sit a while but the path pulls you toward new views at every turn.  In the off season, that means NOT summer, there is usually plenty of free parking and the traffic on the path is also less crowded.  Ogunquit provides many treats for the visitor but this spot beckons all who are weary of the usual tourist rat race.  It is also easily accessible from Rt. 1 and provides a year-round place of fresh air and solitude for those who want to escape their daily drudgery for a few moments and a real-time, visual adventure for those who are tired of staring at a computer screen.

For a great listen - to, from and maybe even during your walk along the Marginal Way, try
