Centennial Olympic Park

Centennial Olympic Park, “the world’s gathering place” for the Centennial Olympic Games in 1996, is built on a quilt-theme.  Pathways of commemorative brick paving stones stitch together the park’s landscape quilt pieces. The large park includes a Fountain of Rings and a court of 24 flags with the Olympic Ring flag and 23 flags honoring the host countries of the modern Games.

Downtown Atlanta, across the street from the CNN Center.

The park is bordered by Baker Street on the north, Techwood Drive on the east and Marietta and Luckie streets on the west.
