    If you'd like to wander among historical buildings, relax in a peaceful, 7-acre town green, see the lobster and oyster catch of the day at Guilford Harbor, enjoy a view of Long Island Sound, and indulge in a cup of New England chowder, park your car in the town center and take a walk.
   Like a lot of New England towns, what you see depends on the season you visit.  If you prefer to be able to drive around easily and have plenty of elbow room as you walk around, after November and before May might be your best bet.  Even if some "attractions" aren't open, wander around and see what the locals will tell and show you about their town.  In the summertime, these little towns bustle!
