    One of the main "jewels" around Murfreesboro is Crater of Diamonds State Park, the "field of dreams" for thousands of people who have searched for diamonds here since the park's establishment in 1972. For a small fee, the visitor can bring their own digging tools and method of searching and spend the day trying to find that special prize.
