Booker T. Washington, a former slave who founded Tuskegee Institute in Alabama, said “Excellence is to do a common thing in an uncommon way”. We at UnCommonDays.com have had a goal of turning ordinary days into uncommon ones. We think that can happen by stopping to observe two dogs enjoying a swim in a pond, taking a trip to see something of special beauty or interest, watching a butterfly on a flower, spending some time to really look at the flower or just celebrating the change of seasons each year.
We celebrate history by trying to capture images of things that have stood the test of time. We invite you to enjoy this site and hope whatever you see here will turn what could be an ordinary day into an uncommon one for you.
Our pictures have been published in print and digital media and are available for purchase by emailing us at photos@uncommondays.com. The cost is $25 for each picture, with royalty free licensing.
