Route 66 Museum, Clinton, OK

More drivable miles of the fabled Mother Road exist in Oklahoma than any other state, making Oklahoma a favorite among Route 66 enthusiasts. The Oklahoma Route 66 Museum lets those who drove this famous highway relive the experience by viewing memorabilia, listening to excerpts from writings about it and viewing a film that shows some of the "travelers". It is also an enjoyable way to get a quick lesson about a distinctive part of American history, for those who never drove the "Mother Road".
